Remote Monitoring

AKA: Remote Monitoring and Reporting

What is it? Server and service monitoring of customer premise equipment using Ensynch’s comprehensive monitoring system (more info)
Who is it for? Any organization either needing comprehensive first line of defense monitoring or second opinion monitoring (aka: check and balance monitoring)

 

How does it work?

  • Ensynch connects to the customer’s environment via a dedicated circuit (just like the circuits in IP Connectivity Offerings) or via VPN; in some cases, monitoring can be done over the Internet with no special connectivity – this is often desired to understand what the ‘end user’ might see
  • Ensynch’s redundant monitoring system checks the servers/services health every 90 seconds; if a problem is found, an escalation is set to notify the appropriate personnel via cell phone, pager and/or email
  • Appropriate personnel can then acknowledge the alert and begin intervention if necessary
