Hot Technologies for 2006

Server Virtualization

(NETWORKWORLD.COM) IT executives who have delayed virtualizing their x86-based servers for fear the technology remains unproved should put that project at the top of their to-do lists for 2006, as the market for virtualizing the low-volume systems heats up. Business Process Breakthroughs

Email Archiving – Their Take

(eWEEK.COM) Symantec Corp.'s Enterprise Vault is growing up to become more than just an Exchange e-mail archive solution. Successful Desktop Deployment

Microsoft Windows XP Professional can be deployed within your organization in many different ways. This article will discuss the cream of the crop, Sysprep. Sysprep is not an all in one deployment utility. Rather, it is a complement to many of the popular disk cloning utilities, such as Symantec's Norton Ghost. Sysprep allows you to customize your -golden- image to be used in your enterprise, and then clone it to all of your workstations.
