Executive Officers

Gene Holmquist brings more than 20 years of experience in building great teams and successful services companies. Under his leadership, Ensynch has grown at a rapid and profitable clip with revenues having grown ten-fold, workforce has increased while still maintaining a "Best Place to Work" status and geographic expansion has begun to other markets. As President and CEO, Holmquist oversees the company's business strategy aiming to redefine how the IT services industry delivers solutions to the mid-market.

In 2006, Holmquist was named "Business Leader of the Year" by the Arizona Technology Council recognized for his contributions to Arizona's technology industry, outstanding leadership, entrepreneurial spirit and community involvement.

Holmquist's successful track record in the tech industry, where he has held a wide variety of senior positions primarily with a services focus, speaks for itself. A successful serial entrepreneur, Holmquist launched and sold two IT service companies. Holmquist was owner and President of Networking Solutions, one of the first authorized Novell resellers in 1986. He sold the business two years later to Stewart Technologies Group. Holmquist helped launch a successful regional VAR business, Advanced Systems Consultants, where he was responsible for all aspects of services including strategy, sales and operations. Holmquist spearheaded the sale of the business to MicroAge in 1998. Following on the success of his start-ups, Holmquist joined Alliance Consulting Group, an Inc 500 ranked fast-growth company as their Vice President of Sales. Additionally, Holmquist previously served as Vice President of Enterprise Solutions for Vanstar Corporation, a $2 billion national systems integrator.

Holmquist continually pursues philanthropic initiatives. He is a former Director for the Arizona Technology Council and is an ardent supporter of Cystic Fibrosis medical research, dedicating his time and resources to children's charities. He holds a B.S. degree in Computer Information Systems from Arizona State University.
Scott Johnson delivers leadership and vision in the development of Ensynch's strategic customers, partnerships, and partner ecosystem aligning customer and industry needs with Ensynch's service offerings and partners. His career spans more than 18 years of experience in enterprise sales, sales management, channel development, and partnerships with leading technology companies and includes a proven track record of growth. In his role, he oversees new market expansion, sales growth and the development of new partnerships and alliances for Ensynch.

Johnson joined Ensynch in 2001 and has served in a variety of management roles including Vice President of Sales and Vice President of Partnerships and Alliances. In these capacities he has led the broadening of the company's client base, launched partnerships with global technology giants, and placed strategic alliances within the IT industry. Prior to joining Ensynch, Johnson served as General Manager for Stellcom, an application engineering and wireless systems integrator, responsible for all aspects of managing the wireless and mobile solutions for the Southwest Region including sales consulting and engineering. Prior to that, Johnson was General Manager for MicroAge, a former worldwide technology product and services company where he led the Enterprise Account organization supporting Fortune 100 clients. Additionally, Johnson served as Vice President of Sales for Scottsdale-based Advanced Systems Consultants.

Johnson holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University. He is a past president of the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners SW, is a supporter of several charities and serves on the YMCA Community Initiatives Technology Committee. He lives in Tempe with his family and is an avid sports enthusiast and exercise devotee.
Stan Lequin brings 13 years of knowledge and management experience to Ensynch. As Vice President of Professional Services, Lequin is charged with advancing sales and delivery of Ensynch's professional consulting services business. Lequin joined the company in 2001 as Director of Professional Services and became the driving force behind the development and launch of Ensynch's Professional Services group which has grown ten-fold into well over $10 million in revenue since inception. Since 2003, Lequin is also one of the driving forces behind the direction and vision for the company's Managed Services arm.

Prior to joining Ensynch, Lequin served in various leadership roles for Alliance Consulting Group, managing a variety of projects for Tosco Corporation including Retail Enterprise Program projects. He holds several professional certifications including Microsoft Certified Trainer, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and Certified Novell Engineer.

Lequin is actively involved in Arizona's technology and business community as an active participant on the Leadership in Technology Committee for the Arizona Technology Council and Microsoft's Services Partner Advisor Council.

Lequin earned a B.S. degree in Computer Information Systems and a B.S. in Business Management from York College of Pennsylvania.
As CTO, Bennett serves as lead strategist and evangelist for the development of services that drive greater operational efficiency for customers and expand the company's position as an industry leader and innovator. He is responsible for a remarkable IT services organization that has become widely known for its unrivaled "Whatever IT Takes" customer dedication and phenomenal service levels.

Bennett joined Ensynch in 2000 and as the primary architect of the enterprise-class Ensynch Data Center in Tempe, Ariz., built policies and procedures to support a maximum availability IT environment. He has played a lead role in the development of Ensynch's suite of Managed Services solutions. In his career at Ensynch, he has assembled a world-class combination of people, process, and technology that has received continuous accolades, and has earned a 97% customer satisfaction rating over the last few years.

Bennett's career in technology spans 12 years. In 1995, he started Inficad Communications, a regional Internet service provider based in Phoenix, Ariz. Under Bennett's leadership, Inficad grew approximately 200% annually and earned first place ranking in several Arizona publications. Inficad pioneered several business philosophies and technologies now employed by many ISPs around the country. Bennett successfully sold Inficad Communications in 1999. He later joined Developonline.com, a spin-off of Intel, in an IT management role prior to joining Ensynch.
Rick Winterich has over 30 years experience in executive financial management. He has successfully completed numerous strategic acquisitions and integrations for private equity funds, raised capital through several private placements and IPOs and developed the financial infrastructure for several rapidly growing technology companies. Winterich has specialized in financial leadership, mergers and acquisitions, and IPOs with technology and emerging growth companies.

Winterich joined Ensynch in 2007 as CFO to assume the financial leadership role. He is focused on delivering the financial infrastructure and funding to support the Company's growth trajectory into the future. He will also oversee legal and human resource activities.

Prior to joining Ensynch Winterich founded a successful niche internet business. As CFO he led the successful strategic divestiture of Horizon Services. He served as CFO of Mobility Electronics, a start-up technology company which successfully completed it's IPO in June, 2000. Winterich held CFO and General Manager positions in several equity investments of the Harbour Group, completing multiple mergers and acquisitions. Winterich was also the Director of Finance for the Square D Company. He held numerous positions of increasing responsibility during the explosive growth years at Burr-Brown Corporation. He began his career in the Cleveland office of Ernst & Young.

Winterich holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Baldwin-Wallace College. He is a CPA (inactive) in the State of Ohio.
As Vice President of Sales, Joel Fricker is responsible for business development and revenue generation for our California locations. With over a decade of experience, Fricker heads the efforts in account management and strategic partnership development.

Fricker joins Ensynch from an engineering solution provider, LMS, which is headquartered in Belgium. For the last six of his nine years with LMS, he acted as Regional Manager, responsible for strategically growing the West Operations business from the ground up. Joel also acted as the strategic account manager for Boeing, Northrop Grumman and General Dynamics and was responsible for development of strategic partnerships. Prior to LMS, he served as a Test Director for Lear Corporation, one of the world's largest suppliers of automotive interior systems and components. Earlier in his career he served as a Senior Field Engineer at Schlumberger, the world's leading oilfield services company supplying technology, information solutions and integrated project management for customers working in the oil and gas industry. Fricker earned a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He resides in Foothill Ranch, California.



Executive Leadership



Tyeson Cluff

Director of Marketing
Tyeson Cluff is responsible for building and leveraging the value of the Ensynch brand. Cluff directs Ensynch's marketing efforts through promoting solutions with online and offline marketing materials, campaigns and events, and public relations and community outreach. The Ensynch team's ability to execute integrated campaigns has earned the company multiple awards for Marketing Excellence from Microsoft.

Before joining Ensynch in 2004, Cluff served as Director of Marketing for Integrated Information Systems (IIS) where he built the Sales and Marketing process between an Inside Sales team and a national Outside Sales team. Prior to IIS, Cluff led Services Marketing consulting projects for IBM Global Services and Avnet. Cluff is active in the community and serves charities including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the American Liver Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters. He sits on the Governor's Celebration of Innovation committee and in 2007 was selected as one of the Phoenix Business Journal's Forty Under 40. Cluff has a Bachelors Degree in Business from Utah State University and an MBA from ASU's W.P. Carey School of Business, specializing in Services Marketing.
Jed Lazzeri is responsible for the oversight of both the sales and recruiting effort of Ensynch's Talent Solutions organization and delivering highly skilled IT talent to the right client at the right time.

Most recently, Lazzeri served as International Program Manager where he was responsible for the Global implementation of Active Directory, Patch Management and Network Intrusion Appliances for a global Fortune 50 company with locations in 220 countries. Prior to that, he was the Director of Information Solutions Group for Cigna Healthcare Western Region. Lazzeri served as Director of Information Services for Scottsdale Healthcare, an Integrated Delivery Network that includes two acute hospitals, 14 family care offices and one home health agency. Prior to that, he served as Director of Information Services for Kent General Hospital, a 210-bed regional healthcare provider located in Dover, Delaware. Lazzeri served as a Manager in the National Healthcare Information Technology Group for Price Waterhouse. Lazzeri holds a BS degree in Computer Science from West Chester University in West Chester, Pennsylvania.
Matt Henderson has helped Ensynch become the "Trusted Advisor" to organizations by supporting the successful and efficient delivery of projects. Henderson utilizes best-practices to bring together resources, skills, technology, and ideas to achieve business objectives and to deliver business value. He developed a Competency framework that defines roles and responsibilities and lays out a career path within both the consulting and strategy groups within Professional Services.

Prior to his current role, Henderson served as a Global Program Manager for a worldwide shipping company, managing key parts of an integration program following several large mergers and acquisitions. Before that, Henderson was integral in the development of two startup companies in the Security and Forensics fields and held key roles in companies such as VeriSign, Inc., and Accenture. Henderson received his Bachelors of Science from Arizona State University and currently holds Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) designations
As Director of Finance, Sherri Lowry oversees the financial reporting, forecasting and accounting for Ensynch, tapping into her broad and extensive background in finance. Lowry has been instrumental in navigating the company's financial landscape as Ensynch continues to experience double-digit growth.

Most recently, Lowry was a CPA at Arthur Andersen, which at the time was one of the Big-Three accounting firms in the U.S. There she worked closely with small to mid-size companies in the Phoenix area. Lowry consulted with clients helping them to gain better control of their financial accounting by cleaning up balance sheets, writing policies and procedures, projecting cash flow and managing expenses.

Lowry holds a BS in Accounting from Virginia Tech. Originally hailing from Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, Lowry moved to Arizona in 1998. She is a member of the Arizona Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
Since Ensynch's inception, co-founder Guido Russo has been helping enterprise customers realize new heights when it comes to IT and business alignment. Russo serves Ensynch's largest accounts such as DHL International, US Airways, Phelps Dodge (now FreePort McMoran), Apollo Group, and Applied Materials. His passion is to envision practical IT solutions with a clear business payback. He delivers proven solutions for high impact business results.

Russo's entrepreneurial spirit comes from a history of his own successful businesses. In the mid 1990's, Guido owned his own healthcare software company which was sold to The Potomac Group in 1995. He stayed on board as the Director of Sales where he grew the customer base to over 10,000 users and 400 insurance carriers. In 1997 Russo took over as Director of Sales for Arristech, an emerging high growth staffing firm that merged with Ensynch.
Serving as the Human Resources Manager, Jessica Snyder's role at Ensynch is to help drive the company's reputation as "One of the Best Places to Work." Ensynch's strong commitment to its philosophy that "great employees make a great company" is the driving force behind Snyder's efforts in such areas as: benefit administration, payroll, personal growth and development, writing and updating policy and procedure, work environment, staying abreast of all federal and state laws, and employee recognition.

A Native of Michigan, Snyder earned a BS in Human Resources from Michigan State University. After moving to Arizona in 2001, she joined the Society of Human Resource Management and earned her PHR certification. Previously, Snyder served as Assistant Human Resource Manager for L&G Mortgagebanc in Scottsdale and also as a Staffing Consultant for the Michigan based company Q-temps. The Humane Society, Leader Dogs for the Blind and Camp Mak-A-Dream are all important causes that she supports.
Sean Stecker is Ensynch's resident expert for Information Worker and Systems Management solutions. As Director of Services, he is responsible for research and development, technical readiness, and delivery activities related to solutions in his practice areas. Stecker is instrumental in strategic planning, interfacing with sales and marketing, and managing key customer engagements.

Previously a customer of Ensynch's, Stecker has worked for many years in the "trenches" of corporate IT, supporting networks running on anything from Windows for Workgroups 3.11 through beta versions of Windows Vista. A published author, Stecker has written two books on Windows-based Group Policy and numerous articles published in online communities and websites dedicated to technology. He has personally migrated over 200,000 computer systems to newer operating systems, and managed networks consisting of hundreds of thousands of systems across several countries around the globe.
David Ziton is not your average Sales executive. With business strategy consulting experience regarding business acquisitions and totaling over $3 billion across 15 countries, Ziton is a trusted advisor who delivers maximum value for companies seeking to achieve business agility. In addition to expertise in IT operational efficiency, his unique background incorporates the following business competencies:

Prior to joining Ensynch, Ziton worked with cross-functional teams in executing business strategies for revenue growth and service delivery for a prominent telecommunications company with wholly owed subsidiaries in northern Europe and the United States. While employed at Deloitte & Touche and PricewaterhouseCoopers, Ziton led multiple engagements for public and private companies encompassing mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, IPO's, and general business issues. An MBA graduate from the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Ziton is an advocate for international business and assisted many companies with their foreign operations.
