TEMPE, Ariz. and IRVINE, Calif. (September 15, 2008) – Ensynch, Inc., the Southwest’s leading provider of IT consulting and staffing services has added David Lundell as Solutions Architect to its industry-leading Identity and Access Management team.
Lundell, named one of the world’s eight Most Valuable Professionals (MVP) by Microsoft for Identity Lifecycle Manager mastery, brings talent to an already thriving practice focused on helping companies increase productivity and compliance while decreasing operational costs with Identity and Access Management solutions.
With an MBA from the University of Arizona and over 16 years in technology experience, Lundell is an industry expert in the IDA field. Prior to that, Lundell was the founder and principal consultant at Mutually Beneficial Inc., and he also worked for Ryland Homes, a Fortune 500 homebuilder where he was responsible for database administration and project management.
Lundell joins Brad Turner, acclaimed industry expert, Solutions Architect for Ensynch, and fellow Microsoft MVP. Turner is also an Identity Management thought leader, perennial speaker, and creator of the blog “Identity Chaos”. Ensynch’s Identity and Access Management practice has been recognized two years in a row by Microsoft for global excellence, receiving in 2006 the Advanced Infrastructure Solutions, Active Directory and Identity Management Partner of the Year award, and most recently, being named a finalist for the same award in 2007.
“Having two of the world’s eight current Microsoft MVPs for this solution helped Ensynch become recognized for our world-class Identity and Access Management practice numerous times, but most importantly we’re proud of the business value our customers gain through working with David, Brad, and our Identity and Access Management team,” said Gene Holmquist, Ensynch CEO and President. “David brings a wealth of experience and leadership to an already well-recognized practice, which benefits our customers where it counts most, the bottom line.
Many CIOs are facing serious challenges related to managing the way their people access and use information and corporate assets. Identity and Access Management is the process and technology associated with creating and maintaining system identities for each discrete person or device that needs access to corporate information systems and applications. It includes provisioning of those access requirements, integration with existing directory services, single sign-on, centrally controlled authentication and access policies, the federation of identities across the organization, plus auditable reporting across the enterprise.
Ensynch empowers business by assessing the current strengths and weaknesses of their IT environment according to the Microsoft Infrastructure Optimization Model and helping them deploy the most impactful technologies to benefit business results. Identity and Access Management is a core capability in the model that significantly impacts business performance.
